Camping in winter conditions, or in an alpine environment requires a serious sleeping bag. Enter the Sea to Summit Alpine Ap2 Sleeping Bag which sports an EN comfort rating of -12°C.
This bag has a waterproof yet breathable NanoShell to keep the RDS certified 850+ Loft ULTRA-DRY premium goose down dry and ready to loft up when you need it. This bag has a contoured mummy design for efficient insulation, expedition sizing for space to wear extra layers and an oversized footbox to accommodate your boots. For easy access, there’s a full length two-way left side zip and a half zip on the right to free up your arms or ventilate if necessary.
The vertical baffles on the chest prevent down migration and cold spots, the side block baffles keep the 60/40 fill ratio, and an oversized neck collar and snug hood maintain warmth. To prevent heat loss through the zipper, this bag has an oversized zipper draft tube with anti-snag materials to make it easy to use. You can also keep your devices warm so that they perform in the field inside the internal security pocket.
If you’re sleeping in high altitude or snowy conditions, the Sea to Summit Alpine Ap2 is the bag you can rely on to perform in those environments.

I don't have one here to physically weigh for you, but I've double checked the STS catalogue and they list 1.34kg for the Regular length. The APIII is listed as 1.87kg, so is it possible that was the model you were looking at on their website?
